Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Known worldwide as Lady Gaga. Her birthplace is Manhattan New York United States. Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Her father was a businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an internet network firm. She was raised in the exclusive Upper East Side of Manhattan in the midst of a Catholic family. The reason for this is that she was enrolled by her parents in the Convent of the Sacred Heart the school of the elitist, religious type. She was very fond of music from the time she was a young girl. She learned how to play the piano. By age 13 she composed her first tune. She performed at open mics. Her favorite singers are The Queen Michael Jackson Madonna, and David Bowie. After graduating from high school she enrolled at the Tisch School of Art of New York University to study music. She didn't finish her education and decided to quit in order to pursue her music career.
