Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films, and also in a few of Malayalam. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying actor Savitri in her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). Her other awards include three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child actor in the early 2000s and went back to film after studying fashion design. She had her first lead performance in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began to work on projects that were not Malayalam in 2015. The actress also signed on to star in numerous Tamil films at the same time. The director it was A. L. Vijay together with Vikram, who released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go much, but it was released. Due to her busy schedule for 2015, she had no choice but to pull out of films which she had already begun doing work, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She consequently was involved in two projects together with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the leading part on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. While the date for release of Janakitho Nenu has not been set, reports suggest that the film could be released sometime in September of 2020. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy made her debut on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay.
